The 2022 Summer School will take place in Bolzano/Bozen (South Tyrol, Italy) from 4 – 15 July 2022
Eurac Research’s Summer School on Human Rights, Minorities and Diversity Governance is an interdisciplinary, two-week programme for all those interested in minority rights and diversity governance. The year 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of South Tyrol’s autonomy. The 2022 Summer School celebrates this anniversary by exploring the theme of “Autonomies, Borders, Conflicts” through seminars, workshops and study visits led by international experts. Topics include:
- Autonomy arrangements in a comparative perspective
- Autonomy as a tool of conflict resolution
- Autonomy, sovereignty conflicts and secession
- Indigenous autonomies in Latin America and Australia
- Migration in autonomous regions
